The Mobilization Committee operates separately from the union executive, at an “arm’s length.”  We are made up of union members who are volunteering to support the executive during the bargaining/negotiation process.  We will communicate to the members on behalf of the executive, and coordinate activities to promote awareness of the bargaining process.  We want to raise our awareness of members’ issues and concerns, by raising our member’s awareness of the bargaining process and key issues.
